We are busy working on the detailed programme, and have some of the broad strokes in place:
- Creative Workshops: Wednesday, 23 September and Thursday, 24 September 2026
- Conference Presentations and Festival: Friday, 25 September (8 am) to Monday, 28 September 2026 (10 pm)
Keynote addresses will be on 25, 26, and 27 September 2026, and the not-to-be-missed Conference Gala will be on the evening of 28 September 2026, featuring Makhanda's Amalahle Band. We encourage you to travel on the 24th and the 29th so that you don't miss events, or on the 22nd and 29th if you wish to also attend the creative workshops. Please note that there are no late-night flights from the Gqeberha airport.
The programme also features exhibition and performance events in the evenings. We are delighted to present an exciting line-up of performances, including Masimba Hwati, Nashilongweshipwe Mushaandja, Sikhumbuzo Makandula, Sange Mpambani, Luyanda Taku, Oluwatosin Kooshima Tume, Taryn Jade Benade and Thandokazi May with Siyasanga Mbele. Musicians include the Amalahle Band, Thambo Marimba Ensemble, and Seretse Monei.
